VIA Physiotherapy is a new clinic based in Drumcondra, Dublin 3, offering expert, evidence-based care for people of all ages and abilities. Whether it’s everyday aches and pains or high-level sports injuries, VIA helps you understand your injury and get back to doing what you love.

Our practice is grounded in clinical reasoning, with a strong focus on accurate diagnosis, structured rehabilitation planning, and individualised care aligned with each person’s goals. The foundation of consistent, evidence-based care has been built from experience in professional sport, private practice and hospital-based care. As a Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal triage at TUH, regular collaboration with top orthopaedic surgeons has facilitated ongoing learning and development.

The name

'Via' originates from the Latin word for 'way,' 'road,' or 'path' — a route taken or a method used. The word indicates a stopover, an intermediate step, or the channel through which something is achieved. Perfectly applicable for how we help you get back to things you love.

Career

International experience.

A varied career in sports physiotherapy across the Pacific Rim and Europe — public health, professional sport, and private practice in each.

Eimear qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Trinity College in 2013, then spent ten years in Singapore, Melbourne, and Sydney before returning to Dublin in 2023. Career highlights include team physiotherapist with the Sydney Swans Football Club for the women's team's inaugural season; clinical educator with one of Australia's leading physiotherapy private practice groups across six clinics in Sydney and Melbourne; and team physiotherapy roles with Randwick Rugby Club, Yarra Ariels Netball Club, and youth teams with Singapore Rugby.

Postgraduate study includes diagnostic radiology prescribing (UCD), dry needling, athletic shoulder rehabilitation, ASCA Level 1 S&C, DMA Pilates, and Complex Pain with the NOI Group.

Eimear contracts to Swim Ireland, Paralympic Ireland Swimming, and Australian Sailing for international training camps and competitions.
